This evening I was able to list our podcast on several podcast venues. Stitcher for example is very popular with people who have Android phones. I really don't know much about the others, except that having the podcasts listed in there places increases the chances...
We are now listed on the Blubrry Podcast Directory here: https://www.blubrry.com/equinephotographerspodcast/
Use this button to subscribe to our podcast via email. Each time a new episode becomes available, you will get an email notice so you can listen.
I could not find specifically where we are listed, but we are now on the Podcast Chart website.
Currently we are funding this project from our private funds. There are monthly podcast hosting fees, monthly costs for the website, and fees for sound editing and other misc. things along the way.
As I listen to various podcasts about building a business it is interesting the vast variety of what can work for the vast variety of types of people and personalities that are out there. I can see as we continue with these interviews of successful equine photographers that there is a vast variety of ways of running an equine photography business.
We found Shelley Paulson and her insights very fun and extremely interesting and we know you will too. How is her completely revamped website which focuses on equine portraits doing and how is this renewed direction effecting her life?
Recently Peter and I had the great opportunity to be interviewed by Frederick Van Johnson of TWIP (This Week in Photo) on of the most popular podcasts networks in photography.
It was such a great opportunity not only for us as photographers, but also to help us get the word out about this podcast , The Equine Photographers Podcast.
The fun and exciting thing is that we already know that it will be because we are already getting so much from each of the people we interview. We get to hear it first before it gets converted into a podcast for you.
Our plan going forward is to get online with iTunes, then post a couple more of the podcasts that we have ready to go. Right now, our plan is to do two podcasts per month.
